First edition of Civil Protection Week (13 – 19 October 2019)
“Science for Civil Protection” day organized by the Department of Civil Protection
The “Science for Civil Protection” day will be dedicated to the numerous and important activities that the scientific community carries out within the National Civil Protection Service.
There will be a national event on October 14th and a series of events distributed throughout the territory, which will take place in the regions of the Competence Centers, and which will be aimed at an audience of regional administrators, local authorities in the area, high school students and academics, researchers, journalists working at a local level
The Competence Centers for risk reduction in Campania will all be involved and engaged together on 16 October in a day dedicated to understanding disaster risks in the broad sense of the term, including monitoring, surveillance, prediction and prevention activities .
