UCCRN “Second Assessment Report on Climate Change and Cities” presented during the UN-HABITAT III conference in Quito
The Urban Climate Change Research Network (UCCRN) presented the volume “Second Assessment Report Climate on Change and Cities” (ARC3-2) during the United Nations Habitat III Conference in Quito, as part of the session “Science for Cities -Urban Stage” (20/10/2016).
The book, published by Cambridge University Press, includes contributions from over 350 authors, and is the second in a series of reports on the topic of risks induced by climate change in urban settings on a global scale, with thematic focuses on numerous interdisciplinary areas, from the vulnerability of the built environment and the socio-economic fabric, to the possible design and technical policy actions to strengthen the implementation of mitigation and adaptation strategies in cities.
ARC3-2 includes contributions from the PLINIVS team by Giulio Zuccaro and Mattia Leone.
